Job Title - Embedded Security Systems Engineer

Location - Dublin

Salary - Up to 70000

An experienced Embedded Security Systems Engineer is required to support a high-profile client site in Dublin. This is a fully on-site embedded role acting as the primary technical lead for enterprise security systems within a mission-critical environment.

You will play a key role in ensuring the performance reliability and continuous improvement of access control CCTV and integrated security systems while building strong relationships with client stakeholders.

This role offers long-term stability autonomy and the opportunity to work closely with a single strategic client.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead for all electronic security systems on site

• Provide hands-on support commissioning integration and maintenance

• Diagnose faults perform root cause analysis and system optimisation

• Support system upgrades lifecycle replacements and improvement projects

• Carry out testing validation and system acceptance activities

• Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

• Collaborate with project installation and service teams for scheduled works

• Maintain accurate documentation reporting and compliance

• Build strong relationships with client stakeholders

• Participate in a planned rotational on-call rota for emergency support

Requirements

Essential

• 5 years experience in the electronic security industry

• Strong technical knowledge of:

  • IP CCTV & VMS platforms

  • Enterprise Access Control systems

  • Integrated security systems

  • System integration and fault diagnosis

• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and system architecture

• Experience working in high-security or mission-critical environments

• Ability to work independently as the on-site technical lead

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

• Full clean driving licence
