Essential Requirements
- EU or UK Citizenship (mandatory)
- Intermediate English level B1 or B2 minimum required for interviews and workplace communication
- Willingness to relocate to Ireland
- Recognised Electrical Trade Qualification such as National Craft Certificate or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years practical experience as a qualified Electrician
- Experience with fire alarm and emergency lighting systems
- Valid Safe Pass certification
- Valid Manual Handling certification

Job Overview
This full-time position involves the installation commissioning servicing and maintenance of fire alarm systems and emergency lighting in line with Irish regulations and industry standards.
You will work closely with clients engineers and internal support teams to deliver high-quality compliant and professional services across various sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission fire alarm and emergency lighting systems in accordance with Irish standards
- Carry out preventative maintenance fault finding and system upgrades
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues during installations and service visits
- Install cable containment systems including steel conduit and trunking
- Complete and submit accurate service reports and documentation
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety procedures
- Maintain professional standards in uniform vehicle care and paperwork
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional on-site service
- Communicate customer feedback and improvement suggestions to management
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to resolve complex issues
Qualifications
- Recognised Electrical Trade Qualification
- Minimum 3 years experience as an Electrician
- Experience working with fire alarm and emergency lighting systems
- Knowledge of Irish standards including IS 3218 and IS 3217
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- High level of professionalism and initiative
