Electrical Pre-Construction Manager

What youll be doing

• Leading the electrical pre-construction and bid management process from enquiry through to project handover
• Developing winning strategies for Electrical and full M&E Design & Build tenders
• Coordinating Electrical Estimators Design Engineers Planners and Bid Teams
• Reviewing electrical technical specifications drawings and tender documentation
• Managing electrical design development and technical compliance throughout tender stages
• Identifying project risks long-lead electrical equipment requirements and programme constraints
• Driving value engineering opportunities and innovative electrical solutions
• Leading supply chain engagement with key electrical manufacturers and subcontractors
• Managing tender programmes and ensuring submissions meet client requirements and deadlines
• Preparing and delivering technical presentations and tender interviews with clients and consultants
• Supporting seamless handover from Pre-Construction to Operations and Project Delivery teams
• Monitoring market trends bid performance and opportunities for continuous improvement

Qualifications :

What were looking for

• Minimum 10 years experience within the Electrical Building Services or M&E sector
• At least 5 years in a Pre-Construction Senior Estimating or Electrical Bid Management role
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering Building Services or Construction Management
• Strong technical understanding of electrical systems infrastructure and building services delivery
• Experience working on Data Centre Pharmaceutical Industrial or large commercial projects
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of JCT / NEC contracts
• Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and work to tight deadlines
• Proficient in estimating software MS Project / Asta and digital construction platforms
