We are seeking an experienced Electrical Safety Compliance Coordinator / Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) Advisor to support the delivery of health safety and contractor compliance activities across operational and project environments.

Key Responsibilities
Support operational managers and project teams in the implementation and ongoing administration of occupational health and safety management systems.
Coordinate and maintain audit programmes ensuring safety audits inspections and compliance reviews are completed in line with established schedules.
Monitor audit findings and corrective actions ensuring timely close-out and effective follow-up of identified improvements.
Review contractor Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) to verify compliance with organisational and legislative requirements.
Manage contractor safety documentation and compliance records through internal systems and processes.
Support contractor onboarding activities and ensure all required safety documentation is submitted and maintained.
Maintain accurate records reports and documentation relating to safety performance compliance activities and contractor management.
Assist in the preparation of safety reports performance metrics and compliance updates for management and operational teams.
Liaise with internal stakeholders and external contractors to address safety-related queries documentation requirements and corrective actions.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing safety performance contractor governance and compliance processes.
Promote a positive safety culture and support adherence to company policies procedures and statutory obligations.

Essential
Previous experience in a Health & Safety Occupational Safety & Health Safety Compliance or Contractor Compliance role.
Experience supporting safety management systems audit programmes and compliance processes.
Knowledge of contractor management procedures including the review of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
Experience using electronic document management compliance or safety management systems.
Strong organisational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel Word and Outlook.
Desirable
Experience within utilities infrastructure engineering construction energy industrial or operational environments.
Understanding of electrical safety principles and contractor governance frameworks.
Familiarity with ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems or similar standards.
Relevant Health & Safety qualification such as NEBOSH IOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent.
Experience supporting operational teams within regulated or high-risk industries.
