E&I Engineer Gas

We have an opportunity for an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer - Gas to join us at Honeywell in Ireland where you will be responsible for working on the maintenance of predominately Bio-Gas Grid Entry Unit at our client sites servicing and planned preventative maintenance and troubleshooting/investigating customer issues.

• Manage the annual servicing of the facility including condition-based servicing & Planned Preventative Maintenance and submit full reports of the job
• Testing the Grid Entry Unit ensuring they are safe and working well before signing off provide hands-on training and knowledge to new users/operators
• Investigate issues to find any faults and system analysis carry out any replacements as needed
• Engage with clients to understand issues make observations and suggest possible improvements and make recommendations
• Meet customers needs via remote support as part of an on-call rota

• Previous experience within industrial servicing or controls systems
• Solid analytical/problem solving skills and technical skills with a high level of attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills both verbally and written
• Gas industry experience or HND/HNC level qualifications experience in the Biogas/Biomethane industries would be advantageous
• Good team player with a willingness to learn
