EHS Specialist

• Conduct risk assessments and implement effective hazard control measures using practical and engineering solutions

• Provide day-to-day EHS support across operations quality warehousing and construction activities

• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental legislation permits and standards

• Support safe systems of work including permit-to-work and high-risk activities

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of EHS and Environmental Management Systems (ISO standards)

• Monitor environmental aspects such as emissions wastewater waste management and resource use

• Participate in incident and near-miss investigations identifying root causes and corrective actions

• Conduct EHS inspections audits and track performance metrics to drive improvement

• Deliver EHS training and promote a strong safety and environmental culture

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into operations and projects

• Third level qualification (minimum NFQ 8) in EHS Engineering or Science discipline or equivalent

• Strong experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

• Knowledge of risk assessments and EHS management systems

• Experience supporting regulatory compliance and continuous improvement initiatives

• Familiarity with regulatory bodies (e.g. HSA EPA local authorities)

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint)

• Practical problem solving and risk awareness

• Good technical understanding of safety and environmental systems

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Attention to detail and organizational ability

• Continuous improvement mindset
