The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting a positive safety culture ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and supporting operational teams in achieving the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct site inspections audits and risk assessments.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
Investigate incidents near misses and implement corrective actions.
Deliver safety inductions toolbox talks and awareness training.
Support project teams in developing safe systems of work and method statements.
Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.
Promote a proactive and positive safety culture across all activities.
Requirements
Relevant Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH Diploma Degree or equivalent).
Minimum 3 years experience in a Health & Safety role within engineering construction manufacturing or industrial environments.
Strong knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation.
Excellent communication organisational and problem-solving skills.
Full driving licence.
