Job Summary

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in healthcare recruitment for domestic and overseas candidates across Hospitals Nursing Homes Home Care and Community Care.

We are hiring an Director of Nursing for a Nursing Home in Co. Dublin

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the overall operations of the nursing home.
  • Ensure compliance with HIQA standards regulations and best practices.
  • Oversee clinical governance quality assurance and resident safety.
  • Manage mentor and support multidisciplinary teams.
  • Drive continuous quality improvement and enhance resident satisfaction.
  • Promote a person-centred approach to care.
  • Monitor staffing budgets and operational performance.
  • Build positive relationships with residents families and external stakeholders.


Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse with active NMBI registration.
  • Significant experience in senior nursing leadership and management roles.
  • Previous experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Person in Charge (PIC) in a residential care setting is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of HIQA standards and Irish healthcare regulations.
  • Excellent leadership communication and organisational skills.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality person-centred care.
  • Ability to lead teams manage change and drive service excellence.
