We are hiring a
Director of Nursing for a leading Nursing home in Dublin Ireland.

Responsibilities


  • Day-to-day management of the nursing home
  • Responsibility for maintaining high standards of quality care
  • Ensuring compliance with Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) regulations and standards
  • Oversight of health and safety policies and procedures


Requirements
  • Candidates must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
  • Previous experience in carrying on the business of a designated centre is essential
  • Relevant qualifications and accredited training with supporting documentary evidence required
  • Excellent clinical leadership and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sound decision-making ability
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a nurse management role
  • Minimum 3 years experience nursing older persons within the previous 6 years
  • Post-registration management qualification required
  • Level 8 qualification in Healthcare Management or Level 9 qualification with a management module in progress or completed by 2028 in line with updated Health Act requirements
  • Candidates must have at least 3 years experience at management level
