Job Summary
We are hiring a Director of Nursing for a leading Nursing home in Dublin Ireland.
- Day-to-day management of the nursing home
- Responsibility for maintaining high standards of quality care
- Ensuring compliance with Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) regulations and standards
- Oversight of health and safety policies and procedures
- Candidates must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- Previous experience in carrying on the business of a designated centre is essential
- Relevant qualifications and accredited training with supporting documentary evidence required
- Excellent clinical leadership and organisational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Sound decision-making ability
- Minimum 3 years experience in a nurse management role
- Minimum 3 years experience nursing older persons within the previous 6 years
- Post-registration management qualification required
- Level 8 qualification in Healthcare Management or Level 9 qualification with a management module in progress or completed by 2028 in line with updated Health Act requirements
- Candidates must have at least 3 years experience at management level
