About Our Client

Our client is a family-owned fresh produce company based in North Co. Dublin specialising in the growing producing and sourcing of fresh potatoes fruit and vegetables. They supply a wide range of customers including supermarkets symbol groups the food service industry and independent retailers and pride themselves on delivering the freshest seasonal produce.

The Role

Were recruiting a Despatch Operator to join our clients warehouse and despatch team on a permanent onsite basis. Reporting to the Production Manager youll play a key role in making sure customer orders are picked checked and despatched accurately and on time helping keep fresh produce moving through the business without delay.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick pack and prepare customer orders accurately for despatch
• Check orders against despatch notes and delivery schedules before loading
• Load and unload goods safely following correct handling procedures for fresh produce
• Carry out stock rotation and support accurate stock control within the despatch area
• Liaise with drivers transport providers and the production team to ensure smooth on-time despatch
• Maintain a clean organised and safe despatch area in line with food safety standards
• Flag any discrepancies damages or quality issues promptly to the Production Manager
• Support the wider warehouse and production team with general duties as required

What Were Looking For

• Previous experience in a despatch warehouse or production environment ideally within food or fresh produce
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced physically active role
• Good attention to detail and a strong sense of accuracy under time pressure
• A reliable punctual team player with a flexible can-do attitude
• Forklift licence an advantage but not essential
• Willingness to follow food safety and hygiene procedures
