The Role

Reporting to the Design Manager the Design Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of projects from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate design activities between internal teams consultants and specialist subcontractors to ensure project objectives are achieved.
• Support the Design Manager and Senior Project Team throughout all stages of project delivery.
• Assist with the implementation and management of project design plans ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Maintain design deliverable registers trackers and project documentation.
• Review design information for constructability and identify potential risks or issues.
• Monitor the flow of design information to ensure alignment with project programmes and procurement schedules.
• Facilitate effective communication between all project stakeholders to support successful project outcomes.
• BCAR responsibilities

Requirements

• Third-level qualification in Engineering Architecture Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a Design Coordinator or similar role within the construction industry.
• Previous residential project experience
• Strong understanding of BIM processes BCAR and document control systems.
