We are seeking a proactive and strategic Manager to join the Chief Data Office (CDO) team on a fixed term contract for 12 months. The role will lead data management and enablement initiatives with a particular focus on implementing and embedding Collibra as the firms Enterprise Data Catalogue (EDC). Working in partnership with Lines of Service (LoS) technology risk legal and global teams the role will strengthen data governance metadata management and data discoverability to support analytics GenAI and wider digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the implementation adoption and ongoing development of Collibra as the firms EDC including roadmap governance delivery milestones and success measures.
Design and embed the Collibra operating model including data ownership stewardship roles workflows platform governance and support arrangements.
Define metadata standards business glossaries taxonomies and minimum metadata requirements to improve data consistency and discoverability.
Partner with LoS and business teams to identify prioritise and onboard data assets and use cases into the EDC.
Drive EDC adoption through stakeholder engagement communications training and monitoring of platform usage and business value.
Lead and coordinate data strategy and enablement initiatives with LoS and business teams translating priorities into practical roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
Develop project plans and manage scope milestones dependencies risks issues and reporting across concurrent CDO initiatives.
Embed data governance and lifecycle practices that support responsible data access reuse analytics and GenAI.
Implement data policies and standards agreed by the Data Governance Board and promote alignment with global and network requirements.
Collaborate across business Technology Risk Legal Information Security and global teams to deliver sustainable data capabilities.
Advocate for a data-driven culture and promote good data management and stewardship practices across the firm.
Education/Professional Qualifications:
Candidates to have minimum a third level qualification (a qualification in data management desirable)
Experience Required:
6 years of experience in data management data governance data strategy technology transformation or a related role.
Experience leading the implementation and adoption of Collibra or a comparable enterprise data catalogue or data intelligence platform.
Experience in metadata management taxonomy development data ownership and data asset onboarding.
Experience leading cross-functional projects and managing plans risks dependencies governance and reporting.
Ability to translate business requirements into practical data management processes and technology-enabled solutions.
Experience engaging senior stakeholders and working across business technology risk and global teams.
Understanding of the data foundations required for analytics GenAI and responsible data reuse.
Experience delivering change communications training and adoption activities for new data capabilities.
