The Role
This new role will support our Renewables team with projects across onshore wind solar battery and other renewable technologies.
This key role will be a fundamental part of our team - managing multiple renewables projects through development planning design input site activity management commissioning and handover.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project development and construction preferably within the energy industry or other substantial infrastructural projects. We are looking for experienced construction managers who excel in communication and thrive on delivering successful projects. As this team is in growth phase this role presents an exciting opportunity to join at the early stages of project development and plays a vital role in our contribution to the energy transition.
What youll need
- Third level qualification in Engineering Construction Management or a related field and a minimum of 8 post graduate experience in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Significant experience in the development design and delivery of large-scale construction or civil engineering projects
- Proven experience in successfully delivering high-value engineering projects within the energy industry including managing and coordinating construction projects with multiple resources.
- Experience and understanding of construction contracts including supporting the resolution of variations claims and extensions of time risks.
- Strong commercial understanding of construction works in relation to budget control variations and claims.
- Strong understanding of public road works ROL requirements and Local Authority interfaces.
