Job Summary

As our Commercial Director Ireland you are responsible for the development and leadership of the local sales strategy in conjunction with the Sales Director UK&I to achieve the to deliver short-medium- and long-term business objectives across all brands. Accountable for achieving Net Sales NSP Gross Margin and Market Share targets while implementing European Sales Fundamentals executing local Activation and Category strategies and driving operational excellence and profitable growth.

Your Tasks

Country Strategy

Develop and lead the local market customer investment sales and activation strategies to deliver short and long term growth in market share sales profitability and customer performance aligned with UK&I Sales Marketing and RGM objectives.
Business Planning & Commercial Performance
Lead annual and long term sales and customer plans ensuring alignment with commercial goals. Coordinate cross-functional planning monitor performance and implement corrective actions to achieve agreed targets.

Sales

Grow the customer portfolio and strengthen market presence by partnering with UK&I teams to drive distribution market share sales and profitability. Manage forecasting to ensure delivery against business plans.

Promotions

Lead the local promotional strategy in line with customer investment plans and UK&I guidelines to maximise sales and market share. Evaluate and optimise promotion performance using commercial insights.

OPEX & Sales Fundamentals

Drive Operational Excellence initiatives and key sales fundamentals including distribution availability and pricing. Leverage commercial insights to identify growth opportunities.

Customer Relationships

Build and implement a customer engagement strategy that strengthens business partnerships develops senior stakeholder relationships and supports long term growth.

Leadership

Lead coach and motivate the Ireland team to achieve commercial objectives and high performance while contributing as a member of the UK&I Commercial Leadership Team.

Your Profile

Proven commercial leadership and stakeholder management skills ideally from an FMCG background.

Director
