About the Role

Our client are looking for an ambitious and commercially focused Contracts & Commercial Manager to join our growing team.

This is a senior role for someone with experience in the plumbing mechanical or construction industry who can combine business development commercial management and project leadership.

The successful candidate will play a key role in growing the business by developing new client relationships securing contracts managing projects and leading our team to deliver high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities and build long-term client relationships.
  • Prepare quotations estimates and tender submissions.
  • Negotiate contracts and commercial agreements.
  • Manage projects from award through to completion.
  • Lead and support subcontractors and project teams.
  • Liaise with clients suppliers and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely on time within budget and to a high standard.
  • Monitor project costs profitability and performance.
  • Identify opportunities for additional works and repeat business.
  • Support the continued growth and development of the business.

About You

You will ideally have:

  • Experience in a commercial contracts or project management role within the plumbing mechanical or construction industry.
  • A proven ability to secure new business and build strong client relationships.
  • Experience pricing estimating and negotiating contracts.
  • Strong commercial awareness and financial understanding.
  • Excellent leadership communication and organisational skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A full clean driving licence.

An established network of contacts within the construction plumbing or mechanical services industry would be a distinct advantage.
