Job Summary

Club and Education Administrator

Swim Ireland is the National Governing Body (NGB) for Swimming Water Polo Diving and associated Aquatic Disciplines on the island of Ireland. Swim Irelands Head Office is based at Irish Sport HQ National Sports Campus Blanchardstown Dublin 15. Role and Reporting Structure

Reporting to the Education Manager the Club and Education Administrator will provide administrative and customer support across Swim Irelands Clubs and Education functions supporting club engagement club development education courses tutors learners volunteers and wider stakeholders.

This customer-facing role requires excellent administration communication and organisational skills. The successful candidate will respond to queries professionally maintain accurate records and assist with courses training events resources communications and stakeholder engagement.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Support the administration promotion and delivery of education programmes courses workshops conferences and continuing professional development opportunities.

Manage registrations records communications and related administration across relevant systems.

Provide support to clubs and volunteers throughout the club affiliation process and with day-to-day queries.

Assist with stakeholder engagement through email phone meetings competitions and other Swim Ireland activities.

Maintain accurate records processing routine administrative tasks and escalating issues or concerns to the appropriate team member when required.

Contribute to a positive experience for clubs volunteers learners tutors and members by providing efficient and responsive support.

Other Duties:

Attend Swim Ireland competitions conferences club education industry and networking events as required.

Work with other Swim Ireland departments to support courses programmes initiatives events and strategic objectives.

Carry out other duties appropriate to the role as required.

Essential Requirements:

Eligible and available to work in Ireland on a full-time basis.

Excellent written and spoken English with strong email and phone communication skills.

Excellent administration organisation attention to detail and record-keeping skills.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint and online systems or databases.

Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a busy environment.

Education and Experience:

Previous experience in an administrative and customer-facing role.

Experience in sport education membership club leisure or voluntary sector environments is desirable.

Experience using membership databases learning management systems or course administration systems is an advantage.

Ability to build positive relationships with clubs volunteers tutors learners and colleagues.

Flexible adaptable proactive and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Remuneration and Location

Salary: 32000 per annum.

Job Type: Full-time 1 year fixed-term contract initially with possibility of extension.

Location: Swim Ireland Head Office Irish Sport HQ Sport Ireland Campus Blanchardstown Dublin 15.

Hybrid working arrangement.

Appointment Subject to Satisfactory:

Garda Vetting and safeguarding requirements.

Suitable reference checks.
