Job Summary

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.


We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Specialist - Urology in a Hospital in Galway Ireland.


Full time 37.5
hours per week Permanent contract


Responsibilities

  • Perform urological procedures including catheterisations cystoscopies and urodynamic testing.
  • Administer medications treatments and interventions as prescribed.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatment.
  • Serve as a liaison between patients families and the healthcare team
  • Coordinate appointments tests and consultations to ensure timely and efficient care delivery.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.


Requirements
  • Be a registered nurse with current NMBI registration
  • Successful completion of post registration programme of Study Level 8 or higher relevant to the specialist area of urology nursing
  • Ideally have 5 years post registration experience with at least 3 years in Urology and Urodynamics
  • Competency in performing full urodynamic studies intravesical instillations and uroflows as per service requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal leadership accountability and communication skills and flexibility to meet the needs of the service.
