Job Summary

We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager for a leading nursing home in Co Tipperary Ireland.

  • Responsibilities
  • Assume responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Nursing Home in the absence of the Home Manager ensuring the effective operation of services.
  • Ensure compliance with all Company policies procedures regulatory requirements and relevant legislation.
  • Lead and coordinate the delivery of high-quality person-centred care in accordance with best practice standards and NMBI guidelines.
  • Oversee the assessment implementation and regular review of resident care plans to ensure individual needs are met.
  • Supervise support and mentor nursing and care staff fostering a positive and professional working environment.
  • Manage staff rostering and resource allocation to ensure appropriate staffing levels and continuity of care.
  • Monitor clinical standards conduct audits and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements effectively managing incidents risks and corrective actions.
  • Maintain effective communication with residents families and the multidisciplinary team advocating for residents rights dignity and preferences.
  • Promote continuous professional development by supporting the learning training and career progression of nursing staff and newly qualified nurses.

Requirements
  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).

  • Previous management or supervisory experience within a healthcare setting.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all organisational levels.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Genuine interest and commitment to working with the elderly and our client group.

  • Satisfactory Garda Vetting clearance.

  • Experience and/or a relevant qualification in Care of the Elderly.

  • Minimum of 23 years nursing experience in a Nursing Home setting in Ireland.
