Clinical Nurse Manager II High Dependency Unit
Job Summary
Provide effective clinical and operational leadership within the High Dependency Unit (HDU).
Deliver safe high-quality patient-centred care and coordinate care from admission to discharge.
Lead motivate supervise and support nursing staff while ensuring effective delegation and teamwork.
Manage staffing levels rosters leave workload equipment and other resources efficiently.
Promote continuous professional development staff orientation education and competency assessment.
Ensure compliance with JCI HIQA hospital policies infection control and health and safety standards.
Support clinical decision-making manage complex situations and respond appropriately to emergencies and incidents.
Maintain effective communication with patients relatives staff consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
Monitor staff performance maintain appropriate skill mix and address conflicts or performance concerns.
Contribute to quality improvement service development policy implementation and the delivery of evidence-based HDU care.
Registered General Nurse (RGN) with current registration on the NMBI Live Register.
Minimum 35 years of relevant clinical experience.
Management qualification or willingness to undertake a management course.
Good computer skills are desirable.

Required Skills:
Registered General Nurse (RGN) with current registration on the NMBI Live Register. Minimum 35 years of relevant clinical experience. Management qualification or willingness to undertake a management course. Good computer skills are desirable.
