About the Role
RecruitNet International Ltd a leading healthcare recruitment specialist for both domestic and international candidates is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Manager II Emergency Department on behalf of a prestigious hospital in Dublin.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the delivery of safe effective and patient-centred nursing care within the Emergency Department.
- Work closely with the Assistant Director of Nursing Emergency Department Consultants and nursing staff to develop implement and evaluate nursing strategies and service objectives.
- Provide strong clinical and professional leadership fostering continuous improvement in nursing practice patient care and staff development.
- Support and promote ongoing education training and professional development initiatives for nursing staff within the department.
- Ensure agreed service plans and operational objectives are effectively implemented monitoring progress and initiating corrective actions when necessary.
- Manage and supervise nursing staff promoting a positive work environment and maintaining high standards of performance and accountability.
- Monitor departmental resources and budgets ensuring efficient utilization and responding appropriately to financial and operational queries.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives patient safety programmes and the achievement of organisational goals within the Emergency Department.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies professional standards and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Act as a role model and advocate for excellence in emergency nursing care and multidisciplinary teamwork.
- Current registration on the General Division of the register maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- Minimum of 5 years post-registration nursing experience in an acute healthcare setting.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience working within an Emergency Department.
- Postgraduate qualification in Emergency Nursing.
- Minimum of 1 years management or supervisory experience.
- Completion of a management training programme is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to plan coordinate deliver and evaluate high-quality patient care within an Emergency Department environment.
- Strong IT skills with proficiency in relevant clinical and administrative systems.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and leadership abilities with the capacity to effectively engage and motivate both staff and patients.
- Proven ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Ability to build positive working relationships and collaborate effectively with staff at all levels across the organisation.

Required Skills:
