Job Summary

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home Care and Community Care.

We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager 3 Nursing Office for a hospital located in Tralee Ireland.

Part-time position on a 12-month fixed-term contract working on a rotating day and night shift pattern.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Nursing Office and nursing services

  • Coordinate daily staffing workforce planning and allocation of nursing resources

  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels and skill mix to meet patient care requirements

  • Supervise support and manage nursing staff including performance and professional development

  • Oversee the implementation and evaluation of nursing policies procedures and standards

  • Monitor the quality safety and effectiveness of nursing care across the service

  • Coordinate staff redeployment and respond to changing clinical and staffing requirements

  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and senior management to support service delivery

  • Monitor clinical incidents risk management audits and quality improvement initiatives

  • Promote compliance with NMBI requirements HIQA standards and relevant healthcare legislation

  • Support the development and implementation of service improvement and change initiatives

  • Provide professional advice and guidance to nursing staff and contribute to the overall strategic development of nursing services



Requirements
  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)

  • Nursing degree or higher qualification

  • Minimum 5 years of post-registration nursing experience

  • Proven clinical professional and managerial experience at CNM2 level or above

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Management qualification is desirable

  • Experience in implementing service improvement initiatives

  • Experience working effectively within a multi-professional environment

  • Extensive knowledge and experience of nursing management principles and practices

  • Strong IT literacy and computer skills
