We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager 1 - Patient Flow Coordinator for a leading Nursing Home in Co Dublin.

Employment Type: Full-time Permanent

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to support effective patient admissions and care coordination.
  • Manage the referral admission and discharge processes ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of patient referrals both on-site and via telephone to determine suitability for admission.
  • Allocate patients to the most appropriate ward or bed to ensure safe high-quality nursing care.
  • Monitor bed occupancy levels and prepare daily occupancy reports for senior management.
  • Deliver patient-centred care aligned with the organisations mission vision values and strategic objectives.
  • Support clinical governance leadership and the effective day-to-day management of the service.
  • Assume the role of Person-in-Charge in the absence of the Assistant Director of Nursing ensuring compliance with HIQA standards and the Health Act 2007.
  • Assist the Registered Provider/Director of Nursing in the operational management of the facility.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives while maintaining flexibility to meet the evolving needs of the service.


Requirements
  • Registered or eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
  • Evidence of ongoing Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
  • Previous nursing management experience is essential.
  • Minimum of 5 years post-registration nursing experience including at least 2 years in the relevant specialty or a related clinical area.
  • Demonstrated clinical managerial and administrative competence to effectively perform the responsibilities of the role.
  • Strong leadership decision-making and organisational skills with the ability to deliver high-quality patient care and manage healthcare services effectively.

Required Skills:
