Childcare Centre Manager Mullingar, Co. Westmeath

A longestablished community childcare centre in Mullingar is seeking an experienced and motivated Childcare Centre Manager to lead a dedicated team and ensure the highest standards of care and early education. This role is ideal for someone currently working in the Early Years sector who is ready to progress into a meaningful leadership position.

As Centre Manager you will oversee daily operations support staff and maintain a warm childcentred environment. You will play a key role in ensuring quality practice strong parent partnerships and a positive team culture.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading supporting and developing a team of Early Years Educators and Room Leaders
• Creating a positive collaborative and professional working environment
• Encouraging continuous improvement reflective practice and high standards
• Ensuring compliance with Tusla regulations Aistear and Síolta
• Managing staff scheduling ratios routines and room coordination
• Building strong trusting relationships with parents and families
• Communicating clearly and effectively with staff families and management
• Promoting a communityfocused atmosphere where everyone feels valued

We are seeking someone with both the skills and the attitude to lead a thriving centre.

You should be:

• Currently working in the Early Years sector (Room Leader Deputy Manager Manager or similar)
• Confident in managing and motivating teams with clarity empathy and professionalism
• Someone who genuinely wants to do their job well improve and contribute positively
• A person who enjoys working in a communitybased environment with strong values
• An excellent communicator able to build relationships and handle challenges calmly
• Knowledgeable in child development curriculum planning and quality frameworks

Qualifications:

• Minimum Level 7 in Early Childhood Education (Level 8 preferred)
• Proven leadership experience within the sector
