Driven by an ethical customer-focused culture they are seeking an experienced Qualified Carpenter / Kitchen Fitter to join their team and bring their custom-designed interiors to life in client homes.

The Role

Working directly in customers homes you will be responsible for installing bespoke hand-crafted kitchens and fitted joinery to exceptional standards. Working from detailed technical plans you will act as the key craftsman on sitefitting carcasses custom panelling worktops doors and integrated appliances. As the final link in the project delivery chain your precision and professional conduct will represent the brands luxury reputation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install high-end bespoke fitted kitchens and custom joinery from detailed technical CAD design plans.

  • Execute precise assembly and fitting of carcasses doors worktops panelling and integrated appliances.

  • Perform first and second fix carpentry liaising smoothly with plumbers electricians and sub-contractors on site.

  • Conduct precise on-site measurements prior to fitting proactively identifying and reporting any plan discrepancies.

  • Maintain strict quality control completing meticulous snagging to ensure a flawless finish before client sign-off.

  • Represent both our client and agency professionally maintaining a clean tidy and respectful workspace in client homes.

  • Communicate effectively with the workshop team design consultants and office staff regarding site progress or required adjustments.

  • Manage installation timelines efficiently while adhering to all site health and safety protocols.

  • Lead final walkthroughs with clients to ensure total satisfaction.

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

  • Fully qualified Carpenter/Joiner (time-served apprenticeship or recognized trade equivalent).

  • Proven track record fitting high-end bespoke kitchens directly within domestic residential properties.

  • Expertise reading CAD design plans and complex technical drawings.

  • Expert capability in carcass assembly worktop fitting custom cabinetry and fine finishing.

  • Full clean driving licence plus own core tools.

  • Valid Safe Pass (or equivalent site safety certification).

  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong customer-facing communication skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience installing integrated kitchen appliances and basic knowledge of associated plumbing/electrical connections.

  • Prior experience handling premium solid-wood or complex luxury joinery products.
