Job Summary
- Assist consultants in the assessment treatment and ongoing management of patients while developing clinical expertise.
- Admit patients participate in ward rounds and coordinate patient transfers and transitions of care.
- Attend educational and training sessions including opportunities in the cardiac catheterization laboratory and cardiac imaging services.
- Conduct regular patient reviews maintain accurate clinical documentation and promptly escalate concerns when necessary.
- Manage patient discharges report adverse events and contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
- Support the education and training of colleagues while maintaining high professional and ethical standards.
- Undertake additional duties as required to support the effective functioning of the Cardiology team.
- Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent qualification).
- Current registration or eligibility for registration with the Irish Medical Council.
- Demonstrated experience working at Registrar level in an acute hospital setting.
- Previous experience within an Irish healthcare environment.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice clinical governance and continuous quality improvement.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to meet the demands of a dynamic clinical service.

Required Skills:
