Biopharmaceutical Team Leader
Job Summary
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Team Leader to join our Biopharmaceutical team in Dungarvan Co Waterford.
**Responsibilities**
- Direct all members of the team including work rotas productivity training and development safety quality and documentation to ensure the laboratory operates at maximum efficiency.
- Maintain close liaison with the Section Manager to ensure adequate resources are available to meet customer testing timelines.
- Manage online reporting on LIMS scheduling work from initiation through to sign-off and developing and authorising customer reports in a timely manner to consistently meet customer expectations.
- Conduct analysis as required to ensure customer deadlines are met.
- Review test methods for quotation purposes.
- Ensure that systems and procedures are maintained in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Provide regular feedback to all team members regarding customer and organisational requirements and changes.
- Address customer-related queries and coordinate with the team to resolve issues as necessary.
- Ensure all relevant documentation is authorised and filed accurately in accordance with company procedures.
- Communicate regularly with the team and ancillary groups to ensure effective information transfer throughout the organisation.
- Participate in routine regulatory and customer inspections.
- Ensure all analysts are trained and maintain comprehensive training records for all tests and additional training completed.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure repairs are conducted in accordance with company procedures with regard to timeliness quality and cost.
- Identify opportunities for quality and service improvement and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications :
- Honours Degree in Biotechnology or Bioanalytical related subject
- Minimum 5 years experience in a GMP biologics laboratory
- Minimum 2 years supervisory or team leadership experience desirable.
- Demonstrated capability to coordinate schedule and prioritise analytical work
- Proven technical expertise and established leadership credentials
- Commitment to quality assurance and customer service excellence
- Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to accuracy and documentation
- Proficiency in internal and external communication
- Demonstrated ability to assess customer requirements and formulate appropriate technical solutions
