BIM CAD Technician (Structural Buildings)
Job Summary
About the Role
Egis Ireland are looking to grow our BIM Team within the Structural Buildings Division and are seeking an experienced BIM CAD Technician (Structural) to join our expanding team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale Residential Apartment Healthcare and Hospital projects across Ireland as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary design environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the preparation and coordination of structural drawings and BIM models supporting project delivery from concept through to construction stages.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of detailed structural drawings and BIM models for building projects. Production and coordination of: AutoCAD drawings Revit BIM models and RC detailing drawings and schedules.
Management and control of drawings and documentation using document management systems.
Coordination with engineers architects and wider design teams.
Attendance at design team and coordination meetings.
Ensuring BIM and CAD standards are maintained across projects.
Assisting in the development and improvement of BIM workflows and processes.
Technical Skills
Proficient in: AutoCAD Revit BIM Modelling RC Drawings & Schedules

Location
This role can be based in any of our Irish office locations: Dublin or Cork or Castlebar or Limerick.
Qualifications :
Requirements
Minimum 7 years experience working as a BIM CAD Technician within a busy engineering consultancy environment.
Strong experience preparing: AutoCAD drawings Revit BIM models Reinforced Concrete (RC) drawings and schedules.
Excellent understanding of BIM coordination and documentation processes.
Experience managing drawings and documents using document management software systems.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary design teams.
Experience attending and contributing to design team meetings.
