Job Summary

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in healthcare recruitment for domestic and overseas candidates across hospitals nursing homes home care and community care settings.

We are currently recruiting for Bank Staff Nurses for a hospital based in Galway.

Hours: Bank / Flexible

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe high-quality nursing care to patients across a variety of clinical departments as required
  • Adapt quickly to different units policies and workflows while maintaining consistency in care standards
  • Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care in line with hospital guidelines
  • Monitor patient conditions including vital signs and escalate any concerns appropriately
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation in accordance with hospital policy
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to support positive patient outcomes
  • Ensure a patient-centred approach to care maintaining dignity respect and confidentiality at all times
  • Adhere to infection prevention and control standards and maintain a safe clinical environment
  • Communicate effectively with patients families and healthcare professionals
  • Liaise with CNMs and consultants regarding clinical issues or changes in patient condition
  • Take responsibility for own professional practice and maintain competence in line with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland standards
  • Remain flexible and available to work across different departments and shifts as required under bank staffing arrangements



  • Requirements
    • Be registered in the General Nurse Division with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland
    • Have ideally 2 years of post-registration nursing experience
    • Hold valid work permission for the Republic of Ireland which is essential for bank/agency shifts
