Position Summary: (Overview of key purpose and accountability of the role)

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Trading hedging and execution for internal and external funding as well as macrotrading opportunities

• Manage dealerbook for TD Bank MM paper

• Funding and cash optimisation

• Manage intraday liquidity requirements and open market operations as needed

• Risk P&L and capital management across a variety of asset classes
• Acting as the Local funding SME (subject matter expert)
• Client relationship management (internal and external)
• Cross-business collaboration

• Contribute to ILAAP and ICAAP for all funding and liquidity matters as required
• Back up responsibilities to the greater TDGF Treasury team

• A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Mathematics Engineering or Business Administration or equivalent relevant experience is preferred.
• High level of proficiency in MS Office VBA Python SQL Bloomberg
• Excellent communication skills and experience speaking to technical and business audiences
• High level of proficiency in statistical analysis on large datasets
• Comfortable multi-tasking managing multiple stakeholders and working as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-starter
• Familiarity with financial markets across a breadth of interest rate products and liquidity management is a plus
• Previous experience in a bank/regulated entity is desirable but not essential.
