Job Summary
We are proud to launch our 2026 Manufacturing Engineering Apprenticeship in conjunction with SOLAS the Further Education & Training Authority in Ireland.
What to expect with the Apprenticeship Programme:
Our programme is a structured 3-year programme that is dynamic and progressive but also supportive of your learning. Students can expect a mix of on and off the job training as part of the apprenticeship programme with the end goal of becoming a fully qualified Bachelor of Engineering (Level 7) Manufacturing Engineer with Element Six.
What are we looking for
We are looking for candidates who are committed and motivated to our Apprenticeship programme. Successful candidates will have a technical and mechanical aptitude who also display maturity commitment flexibility and a willingness to accept responsibility. Strong communication interpersonal and teamwork skills are also essential qualities we will be looking for in our apprentices.
Qualifications :
In order to be eligible to apply for this opportunity you will need to be:
- Aged 18 on or before the 1st October 2026.
- Willing and able to commit to a structured apprenticeship programme with Element Six in conjunction with SOLAS GMIT TUS & MTU for 3 years commencing from November 2026.
- Fluent in English both written and spoken.
- Be physically fit and be able to pass a colour vision test and medical assessment.
- Eligible to live and work in the EU.
- Provide 2 verifiable references.
Minimum educational criteria:
You will also need to have already attained the following minimum educational qualifications:
- Grade O3 or higher at Ordinary Level in the Leaving Certificate (or equivalent) in the following subjects:
- English
- Mathematics
- Plus any two other subjects
(Grade H7 or higher on Higher Level papers is also acceptable).
