Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Advanced Scaffolders to join our clients growing team delivering scaffolding solutions across commercial industrial residential pharmaceutical and specialist construction projects throughout Ireland. The successful candidate will play a key role in the safe erection modification inspection and dismantling of scaffolding structures while maintaining the highest standards of quality productivity and site safety. The role involves working on a variety of complex access and support systems including advanced modular and ringlock scaffolding systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Erect alter inspect and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with project requirements design specifications and industry regulations.
  • Read and interpret scaffold drawings method statements and risk assessments.
  • Install advanced scaffolding systems including bespoke access solutions and modular ringlock systems.
  • Ensure all scaffolding works are completed safely efficiently and within project timelines.
  • Conduct regular scaffold inspections and identify any defects or hazards requiring corrective action.
  • Work closely with site management contractors and fellow scaffolders to coordinate activities and maintain programme schedules.
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards and ensure all materials and equipment are stored safely.
  • Participate in toolbox talks safety briefings and ongoing training programmes.
  • Mentor and support apprentice and junior scaffolders where required.
  • Adhere to all company health safety environmental and quality procedures.

Essential Requirements

  • Advanced Scaffolder qualification or equivalent recognised certification.
  • Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.
  • Proven experience working on commercial industrial pharmaceutical or large-scale residential projects.
  • Strong knowledge of TG20 guidelines scaffold regulations and industry best practices.
  • Ability to interpret scaffold designs drawings and technical documentation.
  • Excellent understanding of health and safety legislation and safe working practices.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Full driving licence
Desirable Skills & Experience
  • Experience working in live industrial environments maintenance shutdowns power generation facilities or pharmaceutical sites.
  • Experience with scaffold inspection and supervisory responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with bespoke access solutions and temporary works requirements.
  • Previous experience leading small crews or acting as a chargehand.
