Job Summary

We are hiring Assistant Director Of Nursing - Nursing Practice Development Co-Ordinator Posts for a hospital located in Cork Ireland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and implement the annual Nursing Practice Development Programme across the hospital ensuring continuous evaluation of its effectiveness and outcomes.
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives by developing managing and monitoring annual nursing service practice development and patient safety plans.
  • Provide leadership in quality safety and accreditation governance actively participating in committees and promoting best practices in patient care.
  • Coordinate audits and performance monitoring activities to measure nursing-related patient safety indicators patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.
  • Assess workforce education and training needs and provide data-driven recommendations to support appropriate nursing skill mix staffing and professional development


Requirements

  • Current NMBI registration with a minimum of 5 years post-registration nursing experience.
  • At least 2 years experience in clinical practice management practice development nursing education or quality improvement initiatives.
  • Strong commitment to patient safety quality care and continuous service improvement.
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to engage effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently manage priorities and take initiative in achieving objectives.
