Account Director Permanent Dublin Hybrid Working

Purpose of the Role

As Account Director you will lead one of the agencys most strategic and high-profile client portfolios.

This role sits at the centre of a complex fast-paced business spanning multiple brands channels and workstreams.

You will be responsible for driving fully integrated TTL media strategy across brand and commercial activity working in close partnership with a broad network of internal specialists and external stakeholders.

The role requires strong collaboration with global counterparts with an emphasis on consistency governance and best practice adoption.

You will play a key role in shaping how media supports brand growth from long-term brand building to short-term activation across a diverse mix of campaigns including high-profile sponsorships award winning partnerships and experiential activations.

This is a high-impact position suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic environment is comfortable navigating complexity and is motivated by delivering standout visible work.

Key Responsibilities

Media Planning & Strategy:

  • Lead integrated TTL media planning and strategy across client briefs

  • Translate client challenges into clear insight-led plans with strong rationale

Client Leadership:

  • Act as senior day-to-day lead building trusted relationships with key stakeholders

  • Manage complexity across multiple brands and a central/global client structure

Campaign Delivery:

  • Oversee end-to-end delivery across campaigns ensuring quality consistency and timelines

  • Drive integration across offline digital and experiential stakeholders

Collaboration & Process:

  • Work closely with specialists and central teams to align plans and outputs

  • Maintain strong process governance and ways of working across all activity

Performance & Growth:

  • Lead reporting learning agendas and optimisation

  • Turn performance into actions and identify growth opportunities

Team & Commercial:

  • Lead support and develop your direct reports

  • Own budgets forecasting and financial accuracy

Qualifications Skills

Essential:

  • Significant experience within a media or communications agency with a strong track record managing client relationships and delivering integrated campaigns across both offline and digital channels.

  • Proven ability to manage complex client businesses with multiple stakeholders and workstreams

  • Experience working on multi-brand portfolios ideally within FMCG or similarly fast-paced categories

  • Excellent client leadership skills with confidence presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage detail while maintaining a strategic view

  • Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and financial delivery

  • Demonstrated ability to lead motivate and develop teams

  • Knowledge of media landscape Understanding of the media environment in Ireland and how to leverage it for client success.

Desirable:

  • Experience working with large multi-market or globally connected clients

  • Understanding of retail media and its role within broader media ecosystems

  • Exposure to large-scale sponsorships partnerships and experiential campaigns

  • Experience working within structured global frameworks or transformation programmes

  • Track record contributing to award-winning or industry-recognised work
