Job Summary

INTECH Process Automation is seeking a Seasoned Commissioning Engineer (Electrical) to join our Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team. The selected candidate will be Responsible for electrical pre-commissioning commissioning testing energization and handover of electrical systems supporting instrumentation and ICSS installations. Ensure safe execution correct test results controlled energization and reliable return to service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead assigned electrical pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
  • Coordinate testing of LV power control power UPS batteries distribution panels and related systems.
  • Perform and verify insulation resistance continuity polarity earth continuity and functional tests.
  • Inspect and verify power and control cables terminations glands panels and connections.
  • Coordinate LOTO isolation energization de-energization and safe return to service.
  • Verify electrical power supplies and interfaces supporting instrumentation ICSS DCS SIS PLC and F&G systems.
  • Review and complete commissioning test packs check sheets test records and punch lists.
  • Identify troubleshoot and coordinate rectification of electrical commissioning defects.
  • Coordinate with Instrumentation ICSS Operations Electrical Construction HSE vendors and contractors.
  • Support startup shutdown reinstatement and controlled energization activities.
  • Verify completion of as-built documentation test results punch clearance and handover dossiers.
  • Ensure compliance with Company standards approved procedures PTW/LOTO HSE and electrical safety requirements.

Requirements:

To Be Successful in This Role You Must Have:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering; relevant certification where applicable.
  • Minimum 7 years experience in Oil & Gas or industrial projects including at least 3 years in electrical commissioning.
  • Strong experience in electrical pre-commissioning commissioning testing and energization.
  • Knowledge of LV systems control power UPS batteries distribution panels cables and earthing systems.
  • Hands-on experience with IR continuity polarity earth and functional testing.
  • Experience supporting electrical power and interfaces for Instrumentation ICSS DCS SIS PLC and F&G systems.
  • Strong knowledge of LOTO isolation energization electrical safety and commissioning procedures.
  • Experience with test packs punch-list management commissioning records and handover documentation.
  • Strong troubleshooting technical coordination and multidiscipline interface management skills.
  • Familiarity with project electrical standards HSE quality and process safety requirements.
  • Relevant electrical commissioning or OEM certifications are advantageous.
