Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for editing engaging video content for YouTube and other digital platforms.
The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of storytelling pacing transitions sound effects subtitles music and visual effects and should be able to create clean and engaging videos.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit long-form and short-form video content for YouTube and social media platforms.
- Create engaging edits with proper pacing transitions music sound effects and graphics.
- Understand raw footage and convert it into polished engaging content.
- Add subtitles captions animations B-rolls images and other visual elements where required.
- Maintain consistency in editing style quality and branding.
- Work independently and complete videos within the given timelines.
- Take feedback and make required revisions.
- Organize and manage video project files and assets.
Required Skills & Experience
- 12 years of professional video editing experience.
- Strong knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro After Effects DaVinci Resolve Final Cut Pro or similar tools.
- Good understanding of storytelling and visual composition.
- Experience editing YouTube-style content is preferred.
- Candidates should be able to understand and create editing styles similar to the reference channels:
- Daniel Dalen: YouTube Channel
- Bruno Casanovas: YouTube Channel
- Should have a good sense of timing pacing music selection sound design and visual storytelling.
- A strong portfolio/showreel is required.
