We are looking for a motivated Junior Technical Writer to support the creation and maintenance of clear accurate and user-friendly documentation. This role is ideal for someone with strong writing skills attention to detail and a willingness to learn technical products tools and documentation processes. The Junior Technical Writer will work closely with engineers product teams and subject matter experts to help produce documentation for software products user guides release notes and internal process documentation.Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Assist in creating editing and maintaining technical documentation such as user guides release notes FAQs deployment notes and product updates.
Gather information from engineers product managers and subject matter experts to help translate technical input into clear content.
Follow documentation templates style guides and internal standards to ensure consistency and quality.
Update existing documentation based on product changes feedback and release cycles.
Support documentation tasks in Agile workflows including sprint-based updates and release documentation.
Maintain documentation files in content management systems or documentation platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support documentation needs across one or more products.
Learn and apply structured authoring version control and publishing workflows as needed.
Required Skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to follow documentation standards
Must have documentation support enterprise application
Must have oxygen XML DITA
Basic understanding of technical writing or documentation workflows
Familiarity with tools such as Confluence Git or similar collaboration/version control tools
Ability to work with cross-functional teams
Willingness to learn technical products tools and documentation systems quickly
Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
Understanding of software development lifecycle
Good to have Skills
Exposure to software documentation APIs or enterprise products
Experience with documentation publishing tools or CCMS platforms
Understanding of Agile/Scrum processes
Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in English Communications Computer Science or a related field.
Completion of a technical writing course certification or equivalent training is preferred.
25 years of experience in technical writing content writing or related documentation roles.
