Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a Technical Developer with 47 years of experience to design develop test deploy and support technology solutions. The role will work with cross-functional teams to understand technology requirements prepare technical specifications develop software and contribute to code quality and maintainability.

The position supports business objectives by delivering reliable software solutions applying Agile and SDLC practices resolving technical issues and evaluating opportunities to use mobile cloud IoT and blockchain technologies.

Software Requirements

Required

• Strong technical understanding of at least one of the following technology platforms: mobile cloud IoT or blockchain.

• Knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java Python or .

• Experience with Agile and Scrum development practices.

• Experience using Git JIRA and Confluence in software development projects.

• Ability to write test deploy and support software solutions.

• Experience preparing technical specifications and detailed documentation for new features and enhancements.

• Experience participating in code reviews and providing feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.

• Experience collaborating with testing teams to validate software solutions against quality standards.

• Ability to provide technical support to team members and contribute to the resolution of technical issues.

Overall Responsibilities

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand technology requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.

• Develop technical specifications design details and comprehensive documentation for new features and enhancements.

• Write test deploy and maintain software solutions in accordance with approved requirements and development practices.

• Experience in financial services technology consulting or other complex software development environments is preferred.

• Candidates may qualify through an equivalent combination of relevant software development platform engineering application support or technology implementation experience.

Day-to-Day Activities

• Participate in daily stand-up meetings project planning sessions requirements discussions and other Agile delivery activities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and technology requirements design solutions and prepare technical specifications.

• Write test review deploy and support software solutions while maintaining required technical documentation.

• Provide technical input within assigned responsibilities resolve or escalate issues support team members and communicate delivery risks and dependencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.

• Equivalent professional experience in software development technology implementation or application engineering may be considered.

• Relevant certifications in software development Agile Scrum cloud technology or related technical disciplines are preferred but not mandatory.

• Complete role-relevant training in SDLC Agile methodologies programming testing deployment and applicable technology platforms.

• Maintain continuous professional development by keeping current with technology trends development practices tools and relevant technical training.
