Role Overview
We are looking for a Team Lead Vendor Management to oversee vendor partnerships commercial negotiations and procurement operations. The role requires a commercially driven professional who can build a strong vendor ecosystem negotiate favorable commercial terms manage stakeholder relationships and lead a team to ensure seamless execution of business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor Management
Build onboard and manage relationships with vendors and external partners.
Develop and maintain a strong vendor network across relevant categories.
Monitor vendor performance and drive continuous improvements in quality cost and service delivery.
Ensure timely resolution of vendor-related issues and escalations.
Commercial Negotiations & Procurement
Lead commercial negotiations to achieve competitive pricing and favorable contractual terms.
Identify cost optimization opportunities while maintaining quality and service standards.
Support vendor selection onboarding contract renewals and procurement activities.
Stakeholder Management
Partner with internal business teams to understand requirements and deliver effective procurement support.
Manage stakeholder expectations through proactive communication and regular updates.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of deliverables.
Operations & Compliance
Ensure timely delivery of products and services through effective vendor coordination.
Maintain procurement documentation contracts invoices and compliance records.
Ensure adherence to company policies procurement processes and quality standards.
Team Leadership
Lead mentor and support the Vendor Management team.
Allocate responsibilities monitor performance and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Foster a collaborative high-performance and customer-focused work environment.
What Were Looking For
Bachelors degree in Business Commerce Supply Chain Management or a related field.
3 years of experience in Vendor Management Procurement Strategic Sourcing or Vendor Operations.
Prior experience leading or mentoring a team.
Strong expertise in vendor management commercial negotiations and procurement operations.
Experience managing both B2B and B2C vendor ecosystems.
Proven ability to build and maintain a strong vendor network.
Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Experience in handling multi-domain market research projects (B2B and B2C) will be preferred.
Strong communication negotiation analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement documentation.
This role requires someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
