The Associate Application Engineer is an entry level developer position that provides development and application support within the Reporting Benchmarking and Analytics development team. The candidate should have the ability to develop an excellent understanding of Extract Transform and Load (ETL) using HCA IT&S enterprise data integration tool called DMExpress and various database technologies to develop end-to-end enterprise software solutions in a preferably Agile/Lean development environment. Must be able to perform technical project assignments with appropriate and progressing less supervision with experience. Must be able to identify investigate evaluate and become proficient in new technologies and technical disciplines that are of significance to HCA Healthcare.
The person should have a demonstrated ability to learn software development utilizing the following approaches and technologies: Scrum Agile Lean Product Development Domain Driven Design ETL Tools(DMExpress) Database Platforms(SQL ServerOracleDB2Teradata) Unix shell scripts /JAVA technologies
