Job Summary
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Review internal and customer rejections and experience in Root cause analysis and taking corrective measures & monitoring its effectiveness (through G8D CAPA & QC-Story method)
- Demonstrated Abilities in Achieving Zero Defect Zero Complaints Green Customer Score Card
- APQP PPAP MSA study SPC analysis FMEA VDA 6.3 CQI 9 11.
- Coordinating during External audit (IATF 16949-2016) & Customer audits.
- Monitoring Customer score card in terms of 0 km Incidences PPM Line stop NCR Lot Rejections and presenting and communicating the recommendations to the management.
- Identifies risks to Quality in the existing processes and initiate improvement actions in coordination with manufacturing and process engineering.
- Need to confirm the manufacturing or production processes meet BW Quality standards.
- Prepare revalidation plans for assembly and sub assembly Layout inspection plan for manufacturing products and ensure timely adherence.
- Reviewing customer requirements and meeting the requirements in the given timeline.
- Working with purchasing to establish quality requirements from external suppliers.
- Looking at ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
- Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures
- Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports
- Using relevant quality tools and making sure the quality standards are met
- Monitoring existing supplier quality performance in terms of Incidence PPM Line stop NCR Lot Rejections and presenting and communicating recommendations to the management.
- Training the suppliers on Supplier Manual Supplier Scorecard BorgWarner policies and procedure
- Report on Environment health and safety related issues on the available communication mediums.
- Ensure safety audits completion on time and vigilant to safety at workplace for safe working environment.
- Leading GSSF element by implementing GSSF procedures and ensure sustainability of the elements assigned.
- Safety Incident investigation & Closing responsibility with 8D
- Minimum 10-15 years of work experience preferred in automotive or automotive supplier industry in field of warranty engineering. Also working experience in Process Quality and Customer quality would be an added advantage.
- Working knowledge of quality system requirements trained auditor in IATF 16949.
- Engineering-level understanding of statistics and reliability
- Outstanding team building and communication skills are necessary as the position will be required to work with Plant engineering Application engineering Manufacturing engineering Production In plant Quality Purchasing and Supply Chain.
- Disciplined 8D problem solving / failure analysis of materials and processes including manufacturing issue troubleshooting
- Minitab working experience must
- Manage positive constructive relationships with customers understanding their needs and requirements. Able to represent the organization in a professional manner.
- Six Sigma Black Belt / Shainin Red X Apprentice / Shainin Red X Journeymen preferred
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Software
- Excellent blueprint reading
- Good communication and interpretation skills
