Job Summary
Role Summary
Structural Engineer responsible for designing and constructing physical structures that can withstand environmental and operational pressures. The role includes preparing cost and material estimates project coordination structural analysis design documentation and ensuring project delivery within budget and timeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Review construction plans and prepare quantity requirements
- Define record and maintain project brief information
- Coordinate with the design team to deliver practical structural solutions
- Prepare feasibility studies and structural engineering strategy documents
- Advise managers and clients on improvements and project strategies
- Prepare detailed structural designs specifications schedules and calculations
- Communicate proposed solutions effectively with design and client teams
- Promote innovation creativity and continuous improvement within the engineering team
- Measure environmental and structural loads and pressures
- Select suitable construction materials based on project specifications
- Obtain planning and regulatory approvals where required
- Coordinate with architects contractors and project managers
- Track project progress and provide timely reports to management
- Prepare and allocate project budgets

Experience Requirements
- 35 years of experience in structural engineering or similar position
- Experience in steel structure projects preferred
- Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
Education
- Under Graduate / Post Graduate in Civil Engineering
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of construction materials MEP systems and fit-out specifications. Understanding of project execution strategies and procurement planning. Proficiency in ERP software for procurement tracking and reporting. Hands-on experience in managing LPO cycles (Open & Closed LPOs). Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word Excel). Excellent vendor negotiation and relationship management skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines. Effective communication skills in English and Hindi.
