Steel Fixer

We are hiring Steel Fixers / Rebar Fixers for construction projects in Oman. The candidate will be responsible for cutting bending placing and fixing reinforcement steel as per structural drawings and project specifications.

• Read and understand structural drawings reinforcement plans and bar bending schedules.
  
• Cut bend place and fix reinforcement steel as per project specifications.
  
• Assemble and secure reinforcement bars using binding wire and appropriate tools.
  
• Install reinforcement for columns beams slabs foundations and walls.
  
• Maintain correct spacing alignment dimensions and concrete cover.
  
• Use steel cutting bending measuring and tying tools safely.
  
• Inspect reinforcement work before concrete pouring and make required adjustments.
  
• Coordinate with carpenters concrete workers supervisors and other site teams.
  
• Handle and position steel bars safely at construction sites.
  
• Follow construction standards safety procedures and supervisor instructions.
  
• Maintain tools and keep the work area clean and organized.
  

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Steel Fixer.
  
• Practical knowledge of reinforcement steel fixing and tying.
  
• Ability to read basic structural drawings and bar bending schedules.
  
• Knowledge of steel cutting bending positioning and binding.
  
• Experience in reinforcement work for beams columns slabs foundations and walls.
  
• Ability to use hand tools and steel-fixing equipment.
  
• Physically fit and comfortable working at construction sites.
  
• Willingness to work at heights and in different site conditions.
  
• Willingness to work overtime and as part of a team.
  
• Willingness to relocate to Oman.
  

• Monthly Salary: OMR 125130 including food
  
• Overtime Rate: OMR 0.400 per hour
  
• Average Overtime: Approximately 65 hours/month
  
• Working Hours: 8 hours regular duty 2.5 hours overtime/day
  
• Working Days: 26 days/month
