Sr Software Engineer

JOB SUMMARY: Provides technical leadership of the plan design development of software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products.

WORK DIMENSIONS:

Standard Work Environment

Majority time spent on PC (Phys. Req.)

Travel may be required (domestic or international)

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Understand and Adhere to all Corporate Policies to include but not limited to ACI Code of Ethics and Global Information Security.

Independently designs develops tests and delivers high quality software/solutions.

Contributes to analysis solutioning and estimation of the customer requirements.

Technically Mentors team members as needed.

Researches and resolves reported systems software problems efficiently and accurately while adhering to internal software management standards and procedures.

Coordinates the technical work of a small project team. Plans and schedules tasks for projects and individuals.

Maintains detail knowledge of domain software underlying network and system software and dependencies.

Provides guidance and subject matter expertise to the development organization.

Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in computer science or related field or equivalent software development experience.

• 6-10 years software development experience.

HIGHLY DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Postilion software development/implementation experience

• Payment domain knowledge

• Hands on Agile Methodology

TECHNOLOGIES:

• OS: Windows LINUX (added advantage)

• Core JAVA J2EE Servlets Python (added advantage)

• Database: SQL Server
