You will supportthe complete deploymentlifecycle: customer readiness assessment infrastructure automation application packaging installation monitoring security recovery and upgrades. Strong Azure expertise is essential with AWS as a secondary skill. Kubernetes experience should include customer-hosted or self-managed environments not only managed services such as AKS or EKS. Key Responsibilities 1. Customer Discovery and Readiness - Assess customer servers datacenters networks storage identity systems and security policies. - Identify prerequisites deployment blockers and operational responsibilities before committing to installation. - Produce discovery questionnaires readiness checklists prerequisites documents and responsibility matrices. Infrastructure Provisioning and Automation - Provision and operate Azure infrastructure with secondary supportfor AWS. - Standardize Kubernetes storage networking ingress secrets databases and supporting services. - Support approved physical-server VM and existing Kubernetes configurations. - Use Terraform from day one and for subsequentinfrastructure changes; manual portal updates are not permitted. - Deliver IaC configuration templates preflight checks and installation automation. 3. Product Packaging and Deployment - Create versionedtested releases using Helm charts container images and configuration templates. - Package dependencies for environments without unrestricted internet access. - Develop installation upgrade and rollback/recovery scripts. - Validate database migration and persistent-data recovery alongside application upgrades. 4. Monitoring and Operational Support - Monitor application availability infrastructure health capacity and background processing. - Implement dashboards actionable alerts and centralized log collection. - Troubleshootincidents and maintain runbooks severity definitions and escalation procedures. 5. SecurityBackup and Recovery - Implementleast-privilege access secure secrets management and auditable changes. - Support security patching and controlled upgrades. - Define backup schedules and perform restore tests against agreed recovery objectives. - Maintain security baselines access policies recovery procedures DR plans and audit evidence. Release and Customer Lifecycle Management - Coordinate deployment approvals upgrades patches and customer-specific release calendars change processes and supported platform/version matrices. - Document upgrade policies support boundaries and end-of-life requirements. - Complete customer handover with clear operating responsibilities and support contacts. Required Skills - Strong production Azure experience across networking identity compute containers storage and monitoring. - Working knowledge of AWS infrastructure and operations. - Hands-on Kubernetes administration networking persistent storage ingress/TLS RBACtroubleshooting and upgrades. - Linux administration Terraform Ansible Helm Git and CI/CD. - Bash Python or equivalent automation skills. - Experience with backup recovery and customer-facing technical documentation.
