Job Summary
Essential Job functions
Program & Course Coordination
Support in desinig and Coordinating shortterm workshops longterm certification programs residencies and advanced surgeon training programs at the Center of Excellence.
Manage program calendars course schedules faculty availability and participant registrations.
Liaise with internal stakeholders (Scientific Education Marketing Sales Technical Services) to ensure seamless program execution.
Support visiting surgeons and trainees from residents to senior consultants throughout their learning journey.
Dry Lab & Facility Operations
Oversee daytoday operations of the Dry Lab ensuring readiness for cataract and refractive training.
Coordinate setup usage and maintenance of modern Alcon equipments
Ensure compliance with safety quality and training protocols during all educational activities.
Faculty & Surgeon Engagement
Coordinate logistics for national and international faculty including scheduling lab access and program flow.
Act as the primary point of contact for visiting surgeons ensuring a highquality experience aligned with Alcons standards.
Support live demonstrations handson sessions dry lab transitions and technology walkthroughs.
Planning Logistics & Administration
Handle event logistics including agendas invitations attendance tracking feedback collection and postprogram reporting.
Coordinate with vendors internal teams and facility management for smooth operations.
Maintain program documentation SOPs reports and training records.
Crossfunctional Collaboration
Work closely with Marketing and Phaco development teams to align programs with business objectives.
Support product launches technology showcases and special educational initiatives conducted at the Center of Excellence.
Assist in tracking KPIs related to program reach attendance utilization and satisfaction.
Standard Minimum Requirements
- Education: University degree or equivalent in Life Sciences Biomedical Engineering Optometry Healthcare Management Marketing or related field.
- Experience:
- 36 years of experience in scientific education medical device training healthcare program coordination or clinical/educational operations.
- Prior experience working with ophthalmology surgical training programs or medical education centers or Phaco Development programs is highly preferred.
- Exposure to cataract and refractive surgery environments is an advantage.
Language
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Working proficiency in Hindi preferred; additional Indian languages are a plus.
