About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to design build and manage data-driven marketing journeys and integrations across our Salesforce ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Marketing Cloud with working knowledge of Data Cloud and Service Cloud integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Cloud Core (Primary Focus)
- Design and build multi-step lead journeys in Journey Builder including entry sources decision splits and exit criteria
- Strong understanding of Journey Builder entry sources particularly Salesforce Data Entry Events including object relationships lookup/reference fields attribute mapping and platform limitations. Experience with API Event Entry Sources and knowledge of use cases data structures and best practices for real-time and batch-triggered journeys is required
- Develop personalised email SMS WhatsApp and push communications using Content Builder and AMPscript/SSJS
- Implement and manage WhatsApp communication use cases including Meta Business integration template approval processes message tracking and ingestion of Meta Lead Ads data into Salesforce Marketing Cloud for automated lead nurturing and customer engagement.
- Configure Marketing Cloud Connect to trigger contextual messages based on lead lifecycle events originating in Service Cloud (e.g. post-enquiry follow-ups status changes)
- Manage subscriber data data extensions and segmentation logic within Email Studio and Contact Builder
- Build and maintain Cloud Pages for preference centres and consent capture with back-end logic to process customer responses
- Design and execute audience-based campaigns leveraging segments fed in from Data Cloud
- Monitor journey performance and deliverability; optimise send times content and audience splits
- Configure and maintain Infobip integrations with Salesforce Marketing Cloud including package setup API endpoint configuration channel onboarding Journey Builder activity configuration message orchestration delivery monitoring and reporting for SMS WhatsApp and other supported communication channels.
Data Cloud Integration
- Configure and maintain the Marketing Cloud Data Cloud connector to receive enriched customer segments for targeting
- Set up engagement and tracking data flows (opens clicks conversions) to be streamed back into Data Cloud for unified profile enrichment
- Design and maintain Automation Studio workflows to extract transform and aggregate engagement data from multiple Marketing Cloud Data Views (Email SMS Push and Journey tracking data) ensuring timely and accurate delivery of tracking data to Data Cloud for customer profile enrichment and analytics.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in SFMC SQL including complex joins across Data Extensions and Data Views primary key and data model design query optimization and the appropriate use of data actions to support scalable data processing segmentation and activation use cases.
- Collaborate with the Data Cloud team to align on segment definitions data model mappings and activation strategies
Service Cloud Integration
- Implement consent management workflows: capture consent responses via Cloud Pages and propagate updates to the appropriate fields in Service Cloud
- Work with Service Cloud developers to define and consume platform events or API calls that trigger Marketing Cloud journey entries
- Ensure data consistency and compliance (e.g. opt-out synchronisation) between Marketing Cloud and Service Cloud
- Configure and maintain Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud data models including standard and custom objects field types page layouts field dependencies validation rules and formula fields to support Marketing Cloud integrations and customer engagement use cases.
