Website Support Engineer (0-2 Years)
Role Overview:
The Website Support Engineer is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support maintenance and issue resolution for company websites and related digital platforms. The role ensures websites remain functional secure updated and optimized for performance while supporting business teams with content updates troubleshooting and coordination with development or hosting teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor website uptime performance and basic security alerts
- Resolve issues such as broken links form errors SSL problems and page load failures
- Update website content (text images PDFs) via CMS
- Support deployments and post-release testing
- Coordinate with developers infra and content teams
- Maintain documentation and incident logs
Technical Skills
- Basic understanding of HTML CSS JavaScript.
- Familiarity with any CMS (WordPress EPiServer/Optimizely Umbraco etc.).
- Knowledge of hosting environments (Windows/IIS).
- Basic SQL query skills (optional but beneficial).
- Understanding of REST APIs and browser developer tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot SSL DNS and HTTP/HTTPS errors.
Tools Knowledge (Good to Have)
- Git or any source control system
- Azure DevOps Jenkins or other CI/CD tools
- Ticketing tools like ServiceNow
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet SLAs.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Good problem-solving mindset.
