Job Summary
You will:
- Investigate and resolve complex ONTAP subsystem issues.
- Perform root-cause analysis using logs traces packet captures core dumps telemetry and debugging.
- Reproduce issues identify defects and develop or validate code fixes.
- Work with Support Development QA and Product Management to resolve issues.
- Develop automation to speed troubleshooting and reduce repeat problems.
- Enhance product reliability supportability and diagnosability through reviews and best practices
- Experience in storage networking is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Google Cloud and experience with distributed cloud environments Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms.
- Strong understanding of operating systems networking and distributed systems.
- Proficiency in C/C and/or Python with hands-on debugging experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex ambiguous problems in large-scale distributed storage systems.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across geographically distributed engineering teams.
- Experience developing diagnostic tools or automation for production issue analysis.
- Experience working directly with enterprise customers or customer-facing engineering teams.
- Equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
