Job Title: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) Automotive IVI / AAOS

We are looking for a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong experience in Automotive IVI systems Android Automotive OS (AAOS) and automation testing.

• Develop and maintain Python-based automation frameworks using POM and data-driven architecture.
• Automate testing for AAOS-based IVI features such as Media Navigation Connectivity Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
• Validate real-world connectivity interruption scenarios and perform end-to-end testing.
• Perform root-cause analysis of Android kernel crashes ANRs and system issues using ADB Logcat and Wireshark.
• Execute CAN bus protocol validation and troubleshoot communication latency issues between gateways and IVI head units.
• Integrate automated test suites into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines with automated reporting and log management.
• Design and execute sanity regression and functional test cases for automotive infotainment systems.
• Collaborate with development validation and cross-functional teams for faster defect resolution and quality improvement.
• Improve automation coverage and contribute to reducing production defect leakage.

• Strong hands-on experience in Python automation.
• Experience in Automotive Infotainment (IVI) and Android Automotive OS (AAOS).
• Knowledge of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay validation.
• Experience with ADB Logcat Wireshark.
• Experience in CAN protocol testing and debugging.
• CI/CD integration experience using Jenkins.
• Good understanding of Linux/Android systems and debugging.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in embedded systems testing.
• Exposure to automotive communication protocols.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology.
