Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Senior ITOM Developer with strong expertise in Discovery CMDB CSDM and Service Mapping. The candidate will be responsible for designing developing configuring and implementing ServiceNow ITOM solutions while ensuring CMDB data accuracy and adherence to best practices.

Must-Have:
Technical Competencies:

• ServiceNow Platform Proficiency: Expert knowledge of the ServiceNow platform architecture including core tables Glide API business rules client scripts script includes UI actions and flow designer.
• Scripting & Web Technologies: Strong proficiency in JavaScript HTML CSS XML JSON and experience with web services (REST/SOAP).
• Certifications:
  • Required: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
  • Preferred: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) for ITOM (Discovery Event Management Service Mapping).
• Methodologies: Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies and knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development: Lead the design development configuration and implementation of complex ServiceNow ITOM solutions focusing on out-of-the-box functionality over customization.
• Module Expertise: Implement and support core ITOM modules:
• Discovery: Configure Discovery schedules install and manage MID Servers and customize Discovery patterns to ensure accurate data capture.
• Service Mapping: Define and troubleshoot business services create and maintain discovery patterns and ensure a graphical representation of CI relationships.
• Event Management: Configure event mapping rules event transform rules and alert rules; integrate with third-party monitoring tools (e.g. SolarWinds Splunk).
• Orchestration: Build and maintain workflows and automation scripts to automate operational processes and integrate with external systems.
• CMDB Management: Oversee the integration of information into the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) from various sources ensuring data integrity accuracy normalization and adherence to CSDM (Common Service Data Model) best practices.
• Integration: Design and implement robust integrations using scripting APIs (REST SOAP) and IntegrationHub to facilitate seamless data exchange between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems.
• Collaboration & Leadership: Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Support & Maintenance: Troubleshoot and optimize the performance of ITOM applications perform unit testing participate in system upgrades and maintain comprehensive documentation.
